"We just wanted to write a quick thank you note for the thoughtful and kind boxes you sent. We hung the lights over in our "office", but brought the little tree back to our room.

"My roommates and I appreciate all that your family has given for our country and what you continue to do for those of us over here ... truly amazing.

"We wish you and yours all the best for a delightful and peaceful Christmas surrounded by family and friends.

"All the best,"

"I would like to give my deepest thanks to all who were involved with "Trees for America's Troops." The Christmas stockings and trees brought much needed Christmas cheer.

"It's nice to know that we're not alone out here and there are still amazing people in our great country who volunteer their time and resources. Thanks for your gratitude!

"With love and appreciation,"

Sgt. Dylan Paylor

To whom it may concern,

Sorry for the delay in sending pictures. We received your care packages of trees and gifts. Thank you so much. We didn’t have a tree so this arrived in perfect time. Although not the Christmas we wanted, you and your team made it much more bearable.

Thanks again for your help and support. We appreciate it.

A little about our unit:

We are the 111th Quartermaster Company in charge of Mortuary Affairs in Bagram. It’s a very daunting task to accomplish, especially around the holidays. We do 6 month deployments because of the hardship the Soldiers face in this unit. The gifts help raise the morale, so again Thank You!

If you would like to continue sending care packages, our address is below.

Thanks!
